hey merry we're both catholic :) its so frustrating when people have a go at catholics and christians in general and they act like its a blight on society, and they criticise us for believing :| anyway, hey!

hey :) well I'm more into Christianity, but I go to catholic churches in Australia? :) but that's nice to know that we share something in common :) yeah, it does get frustrating sometimes but hey, there's not much we can do to stop people from going against us, because this is the world.. full of those mean harsh people.

What makes me the most frustrated is when people blame christians for hating homosexuals! they simply judge us all thinking that if a few people are against gays and are protesting against them, then apparently it means that we are all as harsh as those so-called-catholics (who have basically put a shameful name to our religion!). :( its really bad because this is all a misunderstanding. It's like how muslim people get offended if they are judged as a terrorist, when they are not the ones who are the extremists.. so it goes the same for us christian/catholics too. I think people shouldnt judge us due to historical events. and about the criticising us for believing, oh man... welcome to my world honey.

When religion comes up as an issue in TOK, there is a guy in particular who really says offensive things about God. How He doesnt exist. How we can't prove that He exists. Well seriously, to be frank, I've just lost respect for him because he doesn't know what he's talking about. (and believe me, if i was as closed-minded as him, i think i would probably argue with him almost everyday, because what he believes in , contrasts to what I believe in. but i dont want to start a fight with anyone so i keep quiet in class.) .I know he believes in science, but God is different. Us humans cannot conduct scientific experiments to prove that God exists. The Lord, does not come as cheaply as humans want Him to. Us Christians walk by faith, not by sight. And God DOES exist and there is proof. Christians who say that he does exist but have no proof, need to build a deeper relationship with the Lord. So don't ever lose your faith girl or boy :)

It's nice to know that someone believes in the same faith as I do. But yeah, anyway, nevermind, it's their own choice and their own consequence. If you ever hear anyone criticising our religion, don't bother to start an argument.. some people are really stubborn. lol. just ignore them, let them do what they wanna do and think what they wanna think. and just continue with your own path to God :) that's all xx sorry that I wrote a whole essay sweetie.
