Hahahahahah! You know on facebook, there's this application which gives you your status history! Well it starts from two years ago (I started fb 3 years ago, but good enough), and one of my 2009 statuses went like this:
Merry Formal tomorrow! :D , (F) and NO, i will not get roses from either of my husbands! [ ahem ahem ashie wafie and amal . *looks at all of you* ] hahaha. (Tue, 08 Sep 2009 11:36:59 GMT)
How funny is that! So immature and embarrassing at the same time!!! HAHAHAHA. Mannn, I think if I'm not mistaken, my "husbands" were Aaron, Kant and Peter. Those THREE PEOPLE (Wafi, amal and ashley) were probably teasing me because apparently I was close to them or something. Aw man, now I miss doing geography with amal....

Anyway, here's another one:
Merry JUST FACE IT Sandhya Tambiye & Ashley See , I am a waaaaaaaaay better love therapist ! (Fri, 12 Feb 2010 10:18:43 GMT)
Hahahah! Now I remember, that was when we were training Tambie to be a love guru... hahahahah! And then that was when me and ash were fighting for the position of being the best love guru. hahahahahah! But obviously it was always me and always will be! mwahahahah! :D HEHEHE ASHLEY :B

So anyway, I'll move on from being amused by my status history from facebook, and continue with reality. :) My friend you see, he currently got a girlfriend right... and in the conversation, he wrote to someone - "I don't like her I love her." And as much as I was annoyed at him at that time (because before hand he pissed me off for being so annoying..), I tried to resist the urge of posting an offensive status on my facebook page that would indirectly hint him about my opinions about love. That's why, I changed the idea of being offensive and made it to something like this quote that I made a few days ago:

Surprisingly, I got 10 likes by the end of the day, which made me feel good because I resisted from doing something mean and something that could potentially hurt not only him, but her as well. Since this is my journal, I wanted to briefly discuss - what is the difference between like and love? Well to me, liking someone means that you had some sort of chemistry between you and him instantly. Or vice versa. Liking someone means that you're head over heels for them. That all that you think of is nothing but them. When you giggle at anything they say or even when you feel nervous just seeing them or even being with them. That you just want to be with them, and want her/him to be yours...

LOVE on the other hand is a much perplexing, complicated thing to comprehend. Being in love can either mean you have a beautiful partner whom you want to spend your entire life with. Someone who is your other half and someone who you've known, for a very long time. On the other hand, sometimes love can hurt. Perhaps just thinking about the memories you've had together hurts every part of your heart. That can be love too. Hence, love is a very difficult thing to define, but in short:

Like = short term
Love = long term

Why? Because think about it. When you break up with someone, it will hurt you more painfully if you had loved them, than if you had only liked them. Right?
