Hello~ Well yesterday I officially joined a christian club on campus called "Student Life". I initially joined because I was inspired by a friend who is one of the leaders of SL, from my Indonesian class. Her name is Bec and she loves God soooo much. I was really touched to hear all her stories that were always related to Lord Jesus. Anyway, yesterday I was part of the Student Life International Movement (SLIM) and we did outreach, which is, going out to people and telling them to join our club. I was pretty nervous at first because I was like.. I am new myself... How am I supposed to convince people that they should join? Lol.. but anyway, as soon as I started to get people to do my surveys, I started gaining confidence and apparently (according to the senior leaders) I was on a roll! Hahahahhahahaha. Well I did try my best. I smiled and laughed as usual and got a few people who were interested to join! Horray! Hahahah. A funny story was that, I was surveying a guy from Indo so I got excited, and before that, I was surveying ALL girls, and so when it was time for me to circle the gender, I accidentally circled "Female" and he was like - OOOOOOHHH!!!!! NONONONONO! and I was like.. OMG!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA IM SO SORRY!!!! HAHAHAHAHA! . Then we started laughing and I was so embarrassed hahahaha. Oh well :p keke. Overall I got to meet nice people such as Rebecca (another Rebecca), Lynn, Shaun, Chris.. Harvey and Dan.
Then me and Danial went to RMIT Mainstream (which is mixture but more locals). I was more nervous here but 2 girls came up to me (Named Bella and Rebecca [ANOTHER Rebecca again! lol]) and they were suuuuper friendly and introduced themselves to be Bec's friend! (the night before, Bec told me that she told her friend Bella to look out for me! She's so nice~) And they really did look out for me. They told me their stories about how they became Christians and it was so nice to hear that Jesus called them :D So anyway, it was a nice day overall, although it was cold and freezing and I got a headache :l but anyway... Hahahha. Toodles!
