Hello hello! My break is almost over :( But I am looking forward to continuing the semester although I am aware that this is the busiest time of the year! Assignments and intense exam study due at the same time. So much to do, so little time! D: So I've spent my holidays going on various site visits for my environments group projects. I feel like a environmental manager because I have to evaluate the site, think about people's needs and norms, complexities of systems, but you know what? I don't think it's suited for me. I can imagine how stressed I would be if I were to be an environmental manager. There is so much critical thinking to do, a never ending list of tasks to be completed within a short time and a huge amount of group work involvement. It's been interesting to know how it feels like to be an environmental student, but now I know that it's not for me...
Moving on, I will be going to the Royal Melbourne Show with a few of my friends from Student Life! I'm going with Jeremy, Celine and Justin. It should be fun and I am hoping that the weather will be as beautiful and sunny as today! :D I can't wait to go on thrilling rides!! :O
Something I learnt this week was that depending on ourselves (i.e. Human strength and knowledge) is not sufficient. When we are trying to overcome a problem and use our human strength, most of the times we fail or we only partially complete it. Well that's what I have discovered about myself. I have been trying to overcome this problem of mine, and whenever I try to do it on my own, I fail most of the times. But now, I have discovered that by trusting in God, He will strengthen you and fix your problem. He will release all the problems burdening you. And He is the only one that can do that! It is really amazing seeing Him work through people in life! Very inspiring indeed.
Another thing I have learnt is that only God can be our faithful friend forever. The friendships that we have in this world can hurt us several times. Most of the times, if there is a clash between people, it can lead to broken hearts, scars, arguments and failing friendships. Different opinions and personalities can make us upset, frustrated and angry for being ignored or betrayed and it will only make us do bad things in order to feel satisfaction against that person! How awful. But you see, Lord Jesus will never disappoint us! He is always beside us, he is REAL and he even helps with deal with the issue. He will resolve our problems the correct way and will never betray us. Unlike humans who tend to feel tired if someone continues to cry in front of them and goes on about their problem to them, our Father is never like that! In fact, when we are weak and cry in front of him, he will comfort us and will never get tired of hearing our painful stories. Unlike humans, He will always be there for us. We can really feel His presence when we feel at peace and our tears are wiped away by Him. Our father is so loving that he strengthens us even in our weakest moments and I am so thankful to have Him. :')
