Fate, Destiny and the Future. Part 1

Helloooo ^^ I blog almost everyday now don't I? I think I am getting addicted to blogging like I used to back in those days :P Mmm. 

Honesty Corner:

For the past few days I have really thought about my future. You know I was confused about my feelings for M1 and M2. I didn't know whether I liked M1 more than a brother. As for M2, I always knew that we had a fling, but after I cancelled our date yesterday, I feel like I've broken our relationship. Okay let me set things straight here. I feel like I need to talk things out to release all of the burden I am carrying :S Since I don't have a best friend at uni to share this with..

Here are my stories with M1 and M2..

I have known both of them for around 5 months now... although I met M1 slightly earlier than M2. Me and M1 don't have very much things in common, however we formed our friendship over this semester due to our frequent study sessions and having similar lecture classes. He eventually became like my best friend... if I ever felt lonely around university, he would be the first person I would call. He would tutor me via Skype and literally show me the calculations for chemistry. However I'm not sure why, but I felt like an older brother but at the same time, I felt like an older sister. Our age difference isn't that far so maybe that's why I feel that he isn't mature enough for me.. He's a great guy seriously... He's funny, caring and sweet at times however there is always something keeping us apart.

I met M2 via FB and although my first impression of him was a creep hahahaha but I was curious about him. We eventually started skyping and texting each other via whatsapp and I got to know him much better. He is a very smart and funny guy who was always there for me whenever I texted him. He even told me that he would charge his phone every night... so that he wouldn't miss any of my texts that I send him during the day. (aww). Although he told me that he would never say corny things, he was always actually subconsciously sweet to me. With M2, I didn't feel like he was my brother because as I have mentioned before, we sort of... had a fling... So, there were plenty of sweet moments during these 5 months and we couldn't wait to see each other for real. However, like any friendship.. we had many disagreements. Our views are often very different and this is what always stops me from going further than we were heading to.

HAHAHAHAHAHA! HIS FACE! LOLOLOL! My brother and I literally laughed for 30 minutes after trolling on Tumblr's "SoRelatable" blogs! XD Seriously hilarious and made my night!

Just another day with Merry...

Well today was a rather gloomy day wasn't it? I was suppose to go out on a "date" or whatever, but I had to cancel it after my parents found out who it was with. Isn't that annoying... living with parents and although you are 18 and in University, they still have 100% control over you? Well that's how it is for me. Hahaha. I was pretty angry yesterday, but luckily my brother was able to make me go back to normal. I don't know... he just makes me feel better by cheering me up :)

So for the whole day I have been spending time with my brother. We watched RIO ! Such a good movie. I only watch it for the beautiful colours of Brazil and Carnaval. Hahaha. :D

We also watched a new web drama series (6 Episodes , around 7 minutes each), "Away We Happened" - Starring Victor Kim and Jen Buescher. It was produced and written by WongFu Productions! It's really nice. You should all watch it.  It's not too long and the story was clear and it was pretty funny. Basically it's about a guy and a girl who unintentionally took each other's suitcase while at the cafe and they start getting interested in one another through phone callings... So they decide to meet again to exchange their suitcases and hope that something between them will happen (hehehe)... But den den DENNNN, the problem is.. before the girl met the guy, she was still hoping to go back together with her ex. So how will they resolve this ? What will happen to both of them? WELL YOU BETTER WATCH IT, THATS WHAT. Their best friends make it hilarious :) Hahahaha. He he he... Anyway it's cute... But dang, I wish I had her clothes and body! Her clothes and hair was so nice~ Ahhhh... girls who are perfect *_* . I guess getting any guy to fall for them is easy... Haha. Anyway the pic on the left was one of the sweet scenes :) Hope you guys watch it~

Reunion with High School Friends!

Hellos! I had so much fun yesterday! I met up with my lovely high school friends whom I haven't seen since high school: Jenny and Fauzan , along with Sokhom and Tambiye! It was so nice, we talked a lot about life and uni and our "romantic life" . We went to Starbucks and ate bagels, mud cake and had coffee~ that's when we started sharing our uni life stories. It was hilarious when Jenny showed us pictures of hot guys who do Medicine! Hahaha. We even had this hot smart Christian guy, codenamed - M3, as "Merry's M3"...Even though I haven't actually met him... hahahahahah! I've only heard good stories about him , how he is really nice and perfect and a strong Christian and HOT. LOL. So yeah.. I am strangely attracted to all of his characteristics and descriptions made by my friends who are friends with him. Actually my two guy friends never mentioned that he was handsome, but Jenny told me that her friend thinks he's hot and she ended up agreeing with her. Hahahah. XD

Next we went to Melb Central~ and bought BOOST JUICE and we had no where to go so we ended up taking pictures outside of State Library! It was cold and had lots of pigeon poop around so we decided to go to QV since there are lots of chairs over there~ The weather was also not that great, despite the sunny looking picture on the right LOL. The air was very coooool so drinking boost juice wasn't the best choice :P BUT IT TASTED SO GOOD... so who could resist the yummy mango tango flavour *_* hahaha.

It was actually my first time going to QV ~~ Geez I am so behind with city life. Hahaha. But it was so nice being surrounded by my high school friends. I have missed them SO much! Life is different without them and although I have learned to accept it, I do miss their presence every now and then. The type of jokes that we share, the laughter, the craziness , the family-ness! I missed every bit of us..

OHH AND FAUZAN GOT HIS BRACES OFF!! It's always exciting to see someone with their braces off and compare them to when they had braces on! :D seeing the difference is always exciting for me. :P Anyway, we discussed a lot of things while drinking boost and eating ice-cream~ We talked about ONE DIRECTION hahahahahahhaha! You see, Tambiye is a HUGE FAN of them. But none of us are. So it was so funny watching Tambiye defend One Direction :p Quote from Tambi directed to Fauzan: "DO YOU HAVE A PROBLEM WITH ONE DIRECTION?!?" . Hahahahaha . So funny XD 

I even read on the MX newspaper that Harry Styles from One Direction had a fling with a 32-year old! HAHAHA! I wanted to burst out laughing on the train but I was surrounded by elders :P I sms-ed Sokhom about it and he laughed as well XD But turned out that Tambi already knew and she is totally content about it! HAHA. What a loyal fan!! LOL. Anyways, we had long talks and it was so much fun :) I also bought a coat! Something that I have been looking for , for a very long time now. Overall, it was a very exciting day and I was really happy to have the opportunity to spend a day with my beloved high school friends. We also said that we would invite each other when we all get married! :D Speaking of which, we agreed that Ainul would get married first! XD hehehehe. Anyway toddles~~

Rooftop Prince Review:

(20 episodes - not rushed. Just Perfect.)

My thoughts: This drama has got to be one of the best dramas I have ever watched! Even in episode 1, the drama captures the audience's attention by introducing them to two different eras however they both contain exactly the same characters. The real drama doesn't actually start until the Prince of Joseon and his 3 servants appear in the modern era. Things start getting real messy as he tries to discover who killed his Crown Princess wife. However the real question is... why did he fall into Park Ha's house (The modern reincarnated version of BuYoung who is the crown princess's younger sister) and not his modern time reincarnated wife, Sena? Mind you... There is also Taeyong who is the reincarnated version of the Crown Prince who exists... Lol.. Sounds complicated? I know... It is. At first. Hahaha. But seriously - this drama will make you hooked ! You will be at the edge of your seat as you pass by each episode! The one thing I sincerely loved about this drama is the plot. It offers great discussion topics for kdrama enthusiasts and the ending is really great! I'd probably give it a rating of 10/10 because:

1) The plot didn't lag, every episode just kept getting better and it makes the audience really think about what is to happen and what will the ending be (there were so many different possibilities!!!). 

2) You will fall in love with each character! The 3 musketeers (the Prince's helpers) all have unique characters and they are really funny and get along well! . The Prince (the male protagonist) is also hilarious and he's smart, good-looking and really sweet :p . Park Ha (the female protagonist) is very good at acting and she's pretty! . Even the antagonists are really good actors! Seriously! Most of the times, you feel like you want to kill them because they are pure evil in this drama, but they both have their own weaknesses which lets you breathe out with a sigh of relief after each act they commit.

3) Unlike most dramas, which have absolutely great plots but let you down by having a crappy rushed ending (LIKE BOYS OVER FLOWERS!) , THIS DRAMA, will NOT let you down! You will feel 100% satisfied! Make sure you bring tissues, have high speed unlimited internet and you're all good.

In conclusion: This is a MUST-WATCH drama. If you don't watch it... You are seriously missing out. Good-looking characters, excellent acting and wonderful scenes and plot filled with twists and turns. It has all genres mixed together - comedy, melodrama, romance and fantasy. 

So as you probably can see... I change my blog layout ALOT. Hahahha. I've decided to start all over with the counter flag thing (as you can see down the bottom left!) so it's gonna start all the way at the beginning :( Although my real number of hits is 6970! Omg can't believe my blog has been accessed by people that many times!!!! It didn't even track the number of times that I visit my blog! Haha. Anyway. I'm heading off to sleep now. Toodles! x

A day out with two of my friends :)

Today I literally spent a day with my guy friends (M1 and M2). It turned out to be better than I had expected! So I met M2 for the first time, although we had spoken a lot previously via Skype and Whatsapp. We had a few awkward moments for the first hour (since my other friend came an hour later) but overall it turned out to be okay. He is an odd guy I admit, but he's harmless when I think about it. He's quite funny and good to joke around with , which is nice. Things got better when M1 came. Both of them were piano buddies back in high school and so they knew each other and are quite good friends. They are basically like brothers in my view. Hehe. They are seriously really cute when they are being "mean" to each other and I always awww-ed at them . Hahahahha . Today I felt like a sister... Seriously.. when I needed help with my jacket cuz it was getting cold... Both of them helped me LOL. One of them held my umbrella and bag, whilst the other one was assisting me with putting my jacket on (because it decided to be difficult!! lol) . Aww. 

Then we went to a Chinese restaurant called the "Hutong Dumpling Bar" . It was quite fancy and really popular so my friend had to book us a table beforehand! We ate lots and lots of dumplings. Mmmmm they tasted so good. If you ever eat dumplings, try the "Chive" one. That tasted the best! Although I insisted to pay for myself... but noooo... they payed for me... Haih.. So I guess I will buy them lunch the next time we hang out to make it equal :)

After that, because it was cold, we ended up going to my friend's house! Hahaha. It was my first time going to a guy's house so I was a bit nervous, but it turned out to be alright :) We played board games... and then both of them played piano... and gosh... They are both seriously amazing pianists! I was in awe throughout their whole songs. They can even IMPROVISE! Meaning , they make up a song on the spot using the skills they have learnt... and omg... their improvisation was perfect. Like HOWWWW do they do that?????? It's so amazing seriously. Then us three ended up playing on the piano together because they taught me this simple tune .. so I played that while they did their fancy, pro piano-ing besides me. Hahahahah. Then we took photos together which was nice :) I felt really comfortable and both of them respected me - which is seriously nice of them. I'm pretty lucky to have met them but now.... I sort of have a problem... I don't know whether I have fallen for one of them... (ˊ•_•ˋ)

End of Semester 1: 6- Week Winter Break! 

HI EVERYONE! It's so good to be back. Well, like my title says, it's already well past the end of semester (for me! and everyone else who took the same subjects as me.) and I'm currently on my winter break! Woop-woop~ So exams were pretty full on. I had Biology on day 1, Chem on day 2, Psych on day 3... along with an Indonesian oral exam 20 minutes after my psychology exam! Eeeek. I thought I was gonna die.... BUT I survived! So all went well :) Now I'm just waiting for the results to come out.... X_X but luckily at uni, my results are directed to my personal student portal... AND SO my parents are NOT the first to know! Unlike high school where Ms Hickey would email to all parents about their child's school report is available. (-_-) seriously la. One does not simply give the child's report to their Asian parents without giving the child a chance to make up an excuse beforehand. Hahaha. Oh well. 

This is actually Week 2 of my holidays. And so far it's been good. In week 1 I lazed around the house and watched Korean dramas (which I will be doing reviews on my next blog post!) and I went out with my uni friends to eat at Lygon St! What an experience that was. We encountered this old Greek man who was trying to persuade us to eat at his restaurants, but we weren't interested because we didn't want to eat out just to eat pizza! Although his prices sounded very cheap, but you just can't feel comfortable with a man who's in your face... FORCING YOU to eat at his restaurant, now do you? So he got pissed off as we left him. And my friends stopped at this Italian Resturant... and just looking at the price board I was like... Oh dear gawd. $40 for seafood plates??? $30 for risottos??? But anyway, my friends seemed to want to dine there so we went along and ate there. I ordered spaghetti bolognese. It was nice.. but to be honest, I could have made it at home myself..... but anyway... Hahah. As we went back to go home, we encountered with the old Green man again. He asked my friend, "Did you like what you ate?"  and my friend was like "Yeah. Next time I will eat at your restaurant", and he's like - "No. No you won't. Go eat bananas instead!" . And she was like what the!!! He's so rude!! . Yeah . And that's the end of the story.
